By visiting the new MyCCBC portal, students can view their account information and pay online using any major credit card. ATC ENROLLMENT FOR SUMMER 09 OPEN The Air Traffic Control Program is now accepting applications for the Summer 2009 semester. Please complete the admissions application, the verification form, and submit the required $500 deposit to CCBC, 1 Campus Drive, Monaca, PA 15061. Application, verification form, and deposit must be received no later than November 30, 2008. The $500 deposit is applied to your tuition upon registration. The applications will be processed on a first-come first-served basis. |

CCBC FOUNDATION HOSTS 12TH ANNUAL HOLLYDAY On Wednesday, December 5th from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., the CCBC Foundation will hosts its 12th annual HollyDay gala and auction at the Beaver Valley Golf Club, located at 725 6th Ave., Patterson Heights in Beaver Falls.
While celebrating the season, guests are also contributing to the CCBC student scholarship fund through participation in a silent auction of specialty items and a Chinese auction of seasonal décor, gift baskets, money tree raffle, and much more. All auction items are donated by college employees and community businesses and organizations. Proceeds benefit the CCBC student scholarship and assistance fund.

14 CCBC STUDENTS RECEIVE FIRST-EVER GARBINSKI SCHOLARSHIPS At the October Board of Trustees meeting for Community College of Beaver County, 14 students were awarded the first-ever Garbinski Scholarships. The $1,000 awards were announced by Mr. Chuck Cerjak, President of the Board of Directors of the National Network of Digital Schools (NNDS). The NNDS created the scholarship named for Judy Garbinski, the College’s VP for Learning and Student Success, in recognition of her years of service on the board of the PA Cyber Charter School. |

BUS STOP CLOSED DURING RENOVATION Effective Thursday morning October 21, 2008 through the completion of the renovation of the Allied Health Building, the bus stop in front of the Allied Health Building will no longer be in service. The bus stop along Poplar Drive by the entrance to the Dome parking lot will remain in service and bus service to campus will not be interrupted. |
