About

Incorporated in 1977, the CCBC Foundation was established to enhance the educational environment and opportunities for students and faculty through private support.  The Foundation provides financial support to assist CCBC by providing education opportunities to the general CCBC student population, enhancing the college facilities and resources, and promoting partnerships with business and community leaders.  The Foundation is guided by a board of business and community leaders who raise funds for student programs and scholarships.

Mission

The mission of the Foundation of the Community College of Beaver County is to pursue monies necessary to benefit the college community to support and maintain the college’s strong and vital educational programs and facilities.  The goals of the CCBC Foundation are to raise funds, identify prospects for giving, set policy for the foundation about financial matters, investing, planned giving, designated giving, capital, and annual campaigns, and provide advocacy and positive public relations for the college.

Donate

Contributions to the Foundation can be made by cash, check, credit card, securities, gifts of property or other salable assets, trusts, annuities, electronic transfer of funds from a checking or savings account, or by bequest.

Donations are accepted throughout the year and at any of the Foundation’s annual events.

Events

HollyDay Auction and Gala is a Chinese auction of seasonal décor, gift baskets, money tree raffle, and much more.  All auction items are donated by college employees and community businesses and organizations.  Proceeds help support the vision, mission, values and goals of the college.  This event usually occurs in the first or second week of December.

The Golf Outing brings the Foundation Board and community together to play golf and raise scholarship funds for students.  This event usually occurs in June.
