Welcome to the Community College of Beaver County. As you learn more about us and talk with our staff, you will discover a variety of programs and services responding to the educational needs of our students and our community.
 
We offer associate degrees designed for students wanting to transfer to a four-year college or university after graduation as well as occupational programs created for those students ready to enter the workforce as soon as possible. Our Continuing Education Division offers a broad array of non-credit classes and job skills training, all without the pressure of a grading scale.

ATC ENROLLMENT FOR SUMMER 09 OPEN

The Air Traffic Control Program is now accepting applications for the Summer 2009 semester. Please complete the admissions application, the verification form, and submit the required $500 deposit to CCBC, 1 Campus Drive, Monaca, PA 15061. Application, verification form, and deposit must be received no later than November 30, 2008. The $500 deposit is applied to your tuition upon registration. The applications will be processed on a first-come first-served basis.

CCBC, PENN STATE, GENEVA, & MOUNTAIN STATE PARTNER TO OFFER “COLLEGE FOR A DAY”

On Sat., Oct. 18, CCBC, along with other local colleges including Penn State-Beaver, Geneva College, and Mountain State University will offer residents the chance to attend college for just one day.

The purpose behind “College for a Day’, which will take place from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in CCBC’s Library Resource Center, Conference Room 103, is to encourage mature individuals who have never attended college before to consider additional education.

GROOVY: THE "BE-IN" RETURNS TO CCBC

Students enrolled in "The 1960’s" history class will host a “Be-In” on Thurs., Oct. 16 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. outdoors on campus between the Student Union and Library Buildings.

Open to both the campus and the community, guests will relive the 60’s at CCBC through a wide range of activities including tye-dying, hair braiding, necklace making, poetry, music, and a special guest appearance by 60's icons JFK and Marilyn Monroe.

To relieve the stress of financial aid, CCBC is offering a series of workshops during the week of October 20 that are free and open to the public.
